Little Red Riding Hood

Desert Rose - Men's Tshirt

Life Gift Logo

Life Gift is a derivative of the Red Cross, which deals with Organ Donation. The concept of re-birth and life were important when designing this logo. By using hand written text the organization becomes more personable and therefore more approachable. The vibrant colours create a sense of life and joy, which is the focus of this organization.

Movers With Manners Branding

This company is a Sunshine Coast based removalist company. When I started working them they only had a clip art image of a truck as their logo and no stationary or promotional material. They wanted a logo to emphasize their happy-go-lucky attitude while still remaining professional. The client had expressed their interest to have a character to represent their company. They weren't a large company so printing costs were to be kept to a minimum and it was therefore kept to a two colour job.

This is a mock up flier for The Beach House Ladies Oaks Night.

characterization

Video inspiration for my first animation (fox)

Memory - Ellida
I just really loved the way this character plays within the trees.

Middle of the Hill - Josh Pyke
I love the cute quirkiness of this music clip. The way it combines the real and the make believe and the use of colour is just suburb.

The tale of How - The Black Heart Gang
This animation absolutely blows my mind every single time I watch it. The detail in the imagery is intense and the pace of the animation fits so beautifully with the storyline. Just fantastic.

Radiola - Myaki-ru
The use of textures in this animation really works, especially about a minute in where you have the juxtaposition of the rough background on the smooth lines of the animation.

Hey guys,
This is my Sunbeams and Some Beans animation at its second stage and the elements that I have used to create the clip.I've added motion blur and the line work, the timing is still off a bit and this is a low resolution version, but I just really wanted to put it up and get some feedback. :)

Rough version of Sunbeams typographical animation

This is just a rough version of some moving type which i have started to muck around with. The lyrics are from a Kimya Dawson song called "Sunbeams and Some beans".

Magazine Layout

This is a magazine layout designed around a 20 question interview with Jonathan Roper. The restraints for the layout were that it could have no figurative imagery and it had to be an A3 spread. There were no restrictions on colour but only two typeface families were allowed.

This typographical poster was designed to promote the 1922 motion picture Nosferatu. There were elements within the film, which required representation through the poster. The first of which was the notion of death and fear, represented by the harsh contrast between the black and red, the red also being symbolic of blood. Another main element in the film is the sense of ambiguity, the blurring of boundaries across death and life, sexuality and between the believable and the make-believe. This is represented in the poster through the use of unsteady outlines in the letters, which would otherwise form strong characters. This then deteriorates the legibility of the letters making the words slightly harder to read, thus portraying the element of uncertainty and ambiguity.
